TRAIN YOUR BRAIN

SELF TALK: A normal person speaks to them self at an average of 300 to 1,000 words a minute. If these words are positive instead of negative "can do" instead of "I can't" -- these thoughts help override the fear signal coming from the brain's auto-conditioned response system. Self-talk matters.

What are your spiritual values of life?

When you see yourself as being Perfect, Whole and Complete, that is the image you project to the world. When you come to believe it, all fear and doubt are neutralized and you learn to feel safe and be calm even when surrounded by chaos. Manageability is achieved with practice and discipline. Spirituality adds self-confidence and structure to any situation.

Contemplate things how they ought to be, not how they appear because our eyes can deceive us.

The question is often asked:
What can I do to improve my spirituality?

People who attend a Recovery Reiki Circle usually find that their spirituality expands to the next level of conscious awareness. "The circles are about empowering participants to make the necessary corrections in their own consciousness so they are the ones creating a sense of alignment and harmony in their lives.

A Recovery Reiki Circle may include a brief presentation, followed by a 15-minute guided imagery session to enhance the experience. The facilitator explains and enhances the use of energy work through a focused-intention technique. "By relaxing the body and heightening the awareness of the mind, people become empowered to take an active role in their well-being. These mental exercises merely align the mind with the body's ability to heal itself because it's the mind that sets the intention." Reiki can be viewed as a process of aligning the concept of recovery with the idea of spirituality.

"I can't experience recovery without being on a spiritual path," Julia C.

We have found that through the practice of Reiki, we can accelerate the process of self-actualization when we integrate the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies.

Practical spirituality, as being self-actualized or emotional aligned, may also be viewed as having a positive impact on one's self-esteem. A simple way to accelerate this process is through the use of personal affirmations and/or meditation and focused contemplation. This is simply a form of relaxation and quiet time that can be used to begin rediscovering your inner values and to assess how things are going in your life.

Spend some quality time learning more about yourself by becoming open-minded to other people's points of view in order to expand your mind. This could be by doing different things like attending a Recovery Reiki Circle to help you become better aligned with whatever is your understanding of something greater than you. Please note: We do not mix religion with this idea of spirituality.

This process can be experienced without hands-on contact or burning candles, incense or chanting. All of these may help magnify and intensify the effect but they are not required. Energy work can be done any time, any place to anyone or on anything. Think of it as thought-projection; the power of thought is magnified and directed by one’s intention.

We, as humans, are always either giving or receiving energy, whether we are aware of it or not. Our goal is to bring your conscious awareness to the point where you are cognizant of this fact. This is true empowerment.
